Limit switch boxes are used as position indicators by means of an electrical switch and resulting signal. Typically this is achieved with microswitches or proximity sensors. The indicator also gives a visual sign of whether the valve is in an open or closed position.
A namur solenoid valves‘s function is to control compressed air to a pneumatic actuator which in turn controls the valve position. The unique namur interface means that the solenoid valve can be mounted directly to the actuator reducing the pipework requirements and installation time. Our range of namur valves have a convertable seal meaning they can be mounted either on a spring return or double acting pneumatic actuator.
